Caibarien

Not an easy task cooking in the heat to provide meals to hungry people

Pastor: Yaisel Lima

Pastor Yaisel and his church in Caibarien partner with Aliento Cuba to provide meals to elderly individuals five days a week. Aliento Cuba also funds medicines and medical supplies. In 2024 they provided 954 distributions of medication.  This program is facilitated by a member of the church who is a doctor.

Listen to Pastor Yaisel and other community members address the electric power needs in Caibarien.

Cuba experiencing days of electricity power blackouts and cooking food has been more difficult.  Using solar power, the church can once more provide food for more than 100 individuals and ease the labor of those preparing and delivering the food.

The church in Caibarien is a beacon in their community providing numerous services bringing God’s love and hope into their lives. A solar power system of 18,000 watts will allow them to continue their service.
